I always loved Yoga and I thought this is a great idea to combine yoga with horseback riding.

Farhah MEAWhere does the time fly?  Seems that just yesterday I was welcoming Farhah as my first Hallanny daughter (took two tries). But I can tell you, I couldn’t be more pleased to be able to find a natural horsemanship trainer to get her started.  Finally I will have a saddle horse that I have no intention of selling! Farhah, better known as Sassy,  is young so I look forward to building a strong relationship with her with some help from Parelli, working through Dennis Reis’ home study course and endorsements, perhaps doing some competitive trail with her and showing her at our county fair before I consider breeding her. Now the Parelli purists will not like my mixing methods, but I am more comfortable with Dennis’ methods and Dennis’ wife, Diane, has an Arabian, and thus has an understanding of their needs, and he is more accessible with 2 tour stops in AZ every year where He TEACHES the whole time, not just showcases. He has even expanded his days to 3 for everyone, where Parelli have reduced not only their stops but now only their savvy club members get 2 days. Now, don’t get me wrong, I do like almost all that Parelli teaches, but I  have to thank goodness for the savvy club DVDs and RFD-TV or I would miss out on most of it now that my budget is so tight. I am selling my Parelli red box partnership kit – no longer available through Parelli. Contact me if you are interested!

BTW, Remember Farhah has a full brother, Ibn Ramses Aliya MEA who is for sale! Check him out on our sale’s page!

Hallanny MistannyHave you gotten your latest copy of the Khamsat? Check the pages closely.  You will find 5 Hallanny Mistanny offspring pictured, 4 of them thanks to the wonderful article written by my good friend, Kimberli Nelson. The final one was  his exported daughter pictured in an ad, although they did misspell his name – oops.  There was a great article on some of Hallanny’s ancestors and relatives as well.  If you are a fan of my Hallanny Mistanny or his great grand sire, Hallany Mistanny, you need to pick up this issue!

By the way, Hallanny celebrates his 22 birthday this year. In celebration, mention this blog and I will give you a choice of $220 off his stud fee (only $750 – live cover – LFG or $22 dollar coupon off my store websites (see the links).  If you are interested in a Hallanny offspring, we have 2 rare AK/SE sons available. Most of Hallanny’s offspring are mares, so these two are rare treasures.

Fari SaharaMy beautiful mare, the last of my American-breds by my original stallion, El Mariahs Ibn, has found the perfect home! Norman Stickler, an breeder specializing in American-breds with a strong Polish influence, thought she was just perfect for his program, with the added bonus of being already started under saddle. Even though I had a definite feeling of deja-vu (the old get some training in a horse only to sell them shortly afterward) I know she has finally found the home she was destined for.El Mariahs Ibn I am sad to be losing the last connection to my first stallion, my breeding program has moved on and Fari deserves more than to be just hanging out waiting for me to find the time and the nerve to continue her education. I have every faith that she will do us proud.

This was not the first post I was planning on, but I just had to share this. I have seen some amazing survival storied but this one takes the cake to date.
